Legacy Life Stories has two offices based in Maine and another in Massachusetts which are run by sisters and personal historians Kathleen Morrissette and Kim Venkataraman. We believe that receiving a story, and the opportunity to transform that story into a family heirloom, is an honor.

Legacy Life Stories was founded by Kathleen Morrissette (Maine office) in 1997.  What began with recording her own grandmother’s story has evolved into Legacy Life Stories and a firm belief that our lives should be preserved, shared and celebrated.

Kim Venkataraman (Massachusetts office) joined Legacy Life Stories in 2000.  She worked in banking for a number of years before opening our Massachussetts office. In addition to writing life stories, Kim is a published author.
